Gravilux 1.2 is now available in the app store. It features a massive speedup–up to a hundred times faster–even on old iPhone 3s. Try Gravilux with the maximum number of stars to get a true taste of the improvement. Also new is antialiased points: try very low gravity and notice how the points actually move at a finer resolution than the pixels on your display, moving between pixels. And several other interface refinements are featured in this version. See below for a gallery of color images from Gravilux 1.2.

  1. Love the new Update!

The effects are outstanding, and for something so simple, is quite addictive to play with.

I just wanted to guys an idea, to think about…

Could you make this in 3D? Using the traditional red & blue 3D glasses.

It would blow people away, seeing the stars popping off the screen!!!

It probably would be a lot of work, to have each of the 6400 stars, independently have it’s unique red/blue effect, giving us some popping out, while others close, or further away.

I already posted this idea, on the app store, but wanted to leave a comment here as well.

Would love to know what your thoughts are about 3D!

    Thanks, and Take Care!
